I am planning to build a Unraid server and need advice and recommendations as I intend to run multiple virtual machines (VMs) on my server. My main goal is to create a powerful not too expensive NAS server for storing photos and videos, but at the same time I want to run multiple VMs for different purposes. In addition to virtualization, I plan to use Nextcloud and Docker containers on the same server.

I am looking for advice on hardware selection(preferably I think Intel would be suitable for me), configuration recommendations for Unraid with regards to virtualization, and tips on how to best use Nextcloud, Docker and VMs on the same server. Stability and performance are critical to me.

Any tips or advice you guys can give me will be greatly appreciated.

ich plane den Bau eines Unraid-Servers und benötige Ratschläge und Empfehlungen, da ich beabsichtige, mehrere virtuelle Maschinen (VMs) auf meinem Server zu betreiben. Mein Hauptziel ist es, einen leistungsfähigen aber nicht zu teiren NAS-Server für die Speicherung von Fotos und Videos zu erstellen, gleichzeitig möchte ich jedoch auch mehrere VMs für unterschiedliche Zwecke betreiben. Zusätzlich zur Virtualisierung plane ich die Verwendung von Nextcloud und Docker-Containern auf demselben Server.

Ich suche nach Ratschlägen zur Hardware-Auswahl(bevorzugt denke ich wäre Intel für mich passend), Konfigurationsempfehlungen für Unraid im Hinblick auf die Virtualisierung, und Tipps zur besten Nutzung von Nextcloud, Docker und VMs auf demselben Server. Stabilität und Leistung sind für mich von entscheidender Bedeutung.

Jeder Tipp oder Hinweis, den ihr mir geben könnt, wird sehr geschätzt.
