Unraid Main - 0degC HDD Temp

I recently purchased and precleared a new WD20EARS drive without any issues.  After formatting and adding the drive to the array, Unraid Main shows the temperature of the new drive as 0degC.  Unmenu main, however, gives a valid hard drive temperature.  I searched the forums and found this come up in a few threads, but could not find any resolution.  Is this a problem with the HD I should be concerned about?  My array contains 2 other WD20EARS drives the correctly report temperature in both Unraid main and Unmenu main.

The drive that shows 0degC in Unraid Main is labeled as a WD20EARS-60M.  The drives which correctly show temperature in Unraid Main are labeled WD20EARS-00M.  Is this a coincidence or is this true for others with this issue?  My only concern here is being alerted if the hard drive temperature were to get too hot for some reason. Anyone know which parameter the Unraid status alert package uses to monitor temperature?

I am experiencing the exact same thing...

 

I have two WD20EARS-60M drives that show 0 degrees in the unraid menu but show correct temps in unmenu.

 

I have an WD20EARS-00J drive that gives temps in both

I have an WDC_WD20EADS-00S drive that gives temps in both

I have an WDC_WD20EADS-22R drive that gives temps in both

I have and WDC_WD20EARS-00M drive that gives temps in both

 

Since the issue is so persistent to these two drives and you are experiencing the exact same thing it must have something to do with unmenu and unraid quering the SMART on the drives in different ways.. Anyone any idea ?
