Raid 0 or Use of LVM for parity drive?

is it possible to have the raid0 module be included somehow with the md driver so we can make a large parity drive from 2 smaller ones?

 

If not, is it possible to somehow use LVM as a device and use LVM's striping across multiple drives?

 

Currently I'm considering an external hardware device capable of RAID0 and/or concatenation so I can have a larger parity drive.

Still, I thought it might be more useful to have it within unraid.

 

Thoughts?
