Mac Mini booting into bash

Featured Replies

I created the bootable usb using the provided software.

Prior to using it, I deleted the Mac OS from the drive, wanting to make unraid the only os.

When the Mac Mini 2014 boots with the USB, you can visually watch it run through script, until it finally reaches the end.

It then shows that the ip addresses are blank and has the login.  After typing in root, you are now still in bash.

Not sure what to do from here.  How to get the GUI up and running?

Booting into the console is the default.     If you want the GUI then you need to select the GUI option from the Unraid boot menu.

If im not fully mistaken, there was something on the 6.12 release page with "slim" i think that starts the desktop from the console
