September 19, 20232 yr I have all my drives encrypted and used spaceinvaders method of putting the ssh key on the usb drive just for easy use. With the state of the world today I'd rather just log in and type a password to unlock my drives. Anyone know how to do this without losing all my data?
September 19, 20232 yr Community Expert Have you tried simply deleting the ssh key file off the flash drive and rebooting?
March 31, 20242 yr I am also trying to delete them but I cant. Whatever rebooting the NAS, the ssh keys appears again. Also with known_host and authorized files. I try in maintenace mode and safe mode but I can´t. Edited March 31, 20242 yr by dellorianes
November 7, 20241 yr Have you been able to solve it? The same thing happens to me as it does to you. It doesn't matter if I delete it from the Flash Drive or from /root/.ssh, as soon as I restart the server everything is restored.
November 8, 20241 yr Community Expert @dellorianes Find the “Users” menu either in the header itself or under Settings. click on root or whatever account you’re using, you can remove it from there. Edited November 8, 20241 yr by MowMdown
