Unraid Says Cache Drive Full, DU Showing loads of Space

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Hopefully an esy issue that i cannot google-fu...

My Cache Drive states in the unraid UI that it is full but running du shows that only ~130GB is being used, can someone help.

I have attached screenshots and the diagnostics.

I have scrubbed, nothing found

i have run btrfs check, nothing found

i have rebooted, nothing

i have run balance, nothing

The only thing i can think of is that i recently updated to unraid 6.12.4 if that helps

Thanks :)

Cache is full, you can check with

btrfgs fi usage -T /mnt/cache

du is not always reliable with btrfs (and zfs), you can move some that or can try to defragment, if you don't use snapshots.

Thanks for the help @JorgeB! it is happening again, and you are right that the command you put is showing that the volume is full, how do i correctly identify which files and folders are using up the space as du continues to be unhelpful here.

Don't know an easy way to see that, you can move some folder(s) to the array and check how much space there is after.
