I would recommend to wait a bit longer since an RC with a newer Kernel is on the horizon... :)

 

Please be aware that if you are compiling a custom Kernel you might also have to fix the unraid md driver which is crucial for Unraid to even work properly and if you fix it wrong you might introduce data loss... Just saying.

 

You can also take a look here, this is a container for existing Unraid versions that does almost all automatically and where you can build custom drivers and even, when you are know what you are doing, another Kernel with all the necessary drivers.
