Hi I created ZFS drive for virtual machine use. formatted as ZFS compression on lz4 named vm_drive (2TB Nvme).  then moved over the domains from cache drive (another 2TB Nvme).   after that used ZFS master plugin to convert domains folder into dataset.  Then also converted virtual machine folders into datasets.  At this time I had almost 900GB of data stored in domains.  

 

All working so far, was able to create manual snapshot for virtual machines.  

 

then I saw space invaders video for ZFS auto snapshot and replication and tried to set that up using rsync option and vm_drive as pool and domains as dataset. 

 

It finished successfully but now I see /mnt/user/domains empty!  also /mnt/vm_drive/domains empty.  

 

ZFS master plugin shows snashots contain only Kb of data!!   

 

please help recover this data
