September 25, 20232 yr I recently setup a new Unraid server and love it. Only issue is that it keeps crashing (twice today in fact). Usually it will last a couple days then crash, each time I take a diag (attached 2 from recent crashes). Today I was working in my Windows VM when it crashed on me twice so I am suspecting that something might be up there but not sure as I don't see anything in the logs (though I am not sure what to look for). I've tried 6.12.3, 6.12.4 and most recently rolled back to 6.11.5 and no difference. If someone has any insights after looking at the diags would be appreciated. nas-diagnostics-20230925-1244.zip nas-diagnostics-20230922-1111.zip
September 26, 20232 yr Author Sorry about that, thought the diag included syslog. I've attached all the syslogs from the syslog server (pre and post crash). syslog.tar.gz
September 26, 20232 yr Community Expert Logs are being spammed with USB errors, see if you can fix that, very difficult to analyze them like that. Also one of the NVMe devices dropped offline: Sep 2 04:40:02 NAS kernel: BTRFS error (device nvme0n1p1): bdev /dev/nvme0n1p1 errs: wr 31975314, rd 229095, flush 455696, corrupt 0, gen 0
September 26, 20232 yr Author Hmm...not sure what those USB errors are about, I'll take a look as those are new to me. Yes, I removed one of the NVMe drives as it was an A-DATA drive that was producing errors.
