September 26, 20232 yr Hello sometimes my server logs is filled with error like Failed to read block 0x23e694: -5 xz decompression failed, data probably corrupt And i have some issues. - Can't properly shutdown server, even with poweroff command it will block at unmounting drives indefinetly - Sometime i have docker errors like this : Error response from daemon: connection error: desc = "transport: Error while dialing dial unix:///var/run/docker/containerd/containerd.sock: timeout": unavailable - I one activated persistant logs (stored on cache drive) but for a reason it wouldn't rotate, so my cache drive was quickly full. Here's my diag. just before an another hard reset because i can't start some of my containers. Last reboot was 6 days ago. Thanks in advance. diagnostics-20230926-1440.zip
September 26, 20232 yr Community Expert Solution The SQUASHFS errors usually mean a bad flash drive, you can try backup and re-formatting or just replacing it, also make sure it's using a USB 2.0 port.
September 26, 20232 yr Author thanks for the reply. I don't have another drive on hand at the moment, have you any recommandations on a good one to pick ? Also i already did change my previous stick this year (had similar problems ..) . Isn't there a limit for how often you can change?
September 26, 20232 yr Community Expert I like the Sandisk Cruzer Blade, one of the last USB 2.0 drives you can get. 9 minutes ago, theosusan said: Isn't there a limit for how often you can change? There is for an automated transfer, but you can contact support and they will do it for you.
September 26, 20232 yr Author Okay I can get a new one for tomorrow. I'll do the change and check if it's better.
September 27, 20232 yr Author Received the new usb stick. Now I need to wait the support to transfer my GUID.
September 27, 20232 yr Author New stick is installed and my key replaced. Server is running. I'll mark this topic as closed and keep an eye on errors logs.
