ZFS - Automount Datasets after reboot

Featured Replies

Hi,

i dont know if this normal behavior but i use ZFS on an unassigned devices Drive.

On the drive zfs partition are 2 Datasets, which are mounted fine.

But after an reboot both datasets are not mounted (the unassigned devices parittion is mounted)

After an "zfs mount -a" both datasets get mounted as before the reboot.

Is this a normal behavior? Should i set an usercript for the unassigned device to run the "zfs mount -a" command or is this something else?

Unraid does a

zfs mount -a

at array start but it's likely before UD mounts the disks, probably should ask in the UD support thread.

Created a bug report in UD Thread and it is fixed in latest version.
