Docker Engine fails + AppData subfolders dissapeared

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

i got the following problem.
1. My dockers do not start -> "Invalid parameter" is the error.

2. If i try to reinstall any docker i get the following error : (example: Putty)
docker: Error response from daemon: failed to create shim task: OCI runtime create failed: runc create failed: unable to start container process: error during container init: error mounting "/mnt/user/appdata/PuTTY" to rootfs at "/config": stat /mnt/user/appdata/PuTTY: not a directory: unknown: Are you trying to mount a directory onto a file (or vice-versa)? Check if the specified host path exists and is the expected type.

3. i tried to fix that error by giving chmod -R 0777 to appdata subfolders
also used the (fix common problems) fix permissions plugin.

4. Tried to delete and recreate docker image.
Now i cant reinstall docker containers and somehow i lost appdata subfolders for few dockers and some are still there?

since i didnt find my files i instantly stopped the array and tried to recover .pdf files via direct attachment of my ssd to my computer.
Indeed it recovered many pdf files out of my paperless container.
But im definetely not sure if that are all files....

What to do next?

thanks for your answers in advance
