October 9, 20232 yr Hi, Coming from TrueNas. I am a noob with 3 years experience. 🙂   I am not smart enough to deal with ACL's on TrueNas, I am tired of it just "not working" for some unknown reason. For UnRaid, I am not sure what to look up or do here, Looked at lots of guides and I think I am missing something. I have 8 disks that I would like to be my main pool. I want them in a ZFS RaidZ2. I have a F80 Warp drive. (It is basically Qanity 4 - 200gig drives. (high endurance, not that fast, but SSD's)) The above is my main companents but i do have random hard disks and a couple SSD's laying around.  1. I cant figure out how to get rid of the "array" I just want the ZFS above. I tired to put the RaidZ1 in the array and it only let me chose "zfs" and not a configuration. (RaidZ1) 2. This Cashe disk thing is not working, it is not available on the share dropdown. How could I get it part of the ZFS pool? 3. in TrueNas there was a L2ARC, dedupe, metadata, and ect vdev, is that a good idea? (command line, I have done a ZFS pool command line, I would just rather know that what I am doing is appropriate?) 4. I have 2 - 1 gig networks LAGG'ed in LACP, so, honestly, it doesn't need to be all that fast of a setup. Looking for best, thank you. Please post links to guides as my googling is getting me lots of guides, but not the ones that answer the above.  Again, the ZFS is RaidZ2. The Cashe is not really functional. and I only have a SSD in disk1 there because I could not figure out how not to have a disk there....and its so small I am not sure how to even use it.  thanks in advance. It depends if you needed them or not for your use case, for now they can only be added manually, 6.13 will have GUI support. Â Â Â Â
