File system randomly becomes read only

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've been dealing with issue with my Unraid server where directories randomly become read only. This sometimes makes the entire system crash or just causes containers to fail. I have a feeling this is related to a disk starting to fail but I'm having trouble pinpointing which disk it is.

Diagnostics are attached. This error looks concerning but I'm not sure what I should do next for troubleshooting.

Filesystem is going read-only due to this errors, this usually meant bad RAM, but it appears to happens without a reason with the current kernel for some users, you can try going back to v6.11.5, re-formatting the pool, or trying for example zfs instead.
