Millions of Read Errors

Featured Replies

So I think my array is royally screwed. My Unraid server disks has a ton of read errors after trying to repair my parity drive. Is there any way I can fix. I've already lost close to 10 TB of data. Even after clear disks stats and rebooting server, a read array check still shows the errors. Pleas help.

First thing, btrfs is detecting data corruption, that is known to happen with Ryzen and overclocked RAM like you have, correct that and run memtest, then post new diags after array start.

I ran memetest several times with no errors reported, however when I rebooted things seemed to get progessiveley worse. My third disk is also

now unmountable. I changed my hba card (Snip 2 and Snip 3) and rebooted to see if that made a difference. The third disk is back in the array with no errors showing, I haven't done a read array check for fear of errors poping up again.

RAM is still overclocked, I would really recommend correcting that first, it's known to cause sync errors (data corruption) and not being found during a memtest.
