Rebuilt Parity

Featured Replies

Version: 6.12.4

I rebuilt my parity drive after loosing the boot drive in a move. I can see all the data is present on the drives, when I use the shares section but nothing shows up under windows. The Server itself shows up but if you try to expand it, there is a comment "folder is empty". Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked that the Shares are not set to Export=No (the default) as shares with that setting are not visible on the network.

Under the shares tab at the bottom, I see There are no exportable disk shares.

I went under global shares setting ,enabled the sharing of disks , now the comment is not visible and the disks show up. I am now going to restart this computer and see if there is any difference. I'll post the results.

That is for sharing individual drives, not User Shares.   Each User Share has an Export setting and you do not want it set to No if you want to access it over the network.
