I am the original owner of this 2015 6tb WD Red. Used exclusively in average used Plex system on Unraid. Occasionally I will have the drive stop working, emulated, device not available and such. I usually can get it working but often requiring re-format and than rebuild. Occassionally I see write errors but they seem to clear on there own. I can only do the Short Smart Test within Unraid. Not sure if it times out due to errors or if not supported?? Also not completely sure if these are due to the HBA, PCI errors. Mostly I am just trying to understand/learn more about the process. 2015 drive is old and have a new one on the way.

In you situation, I would definitely replace the drive.

Attributes 1 / 5 / 197 / 200 are generally bad news. A few units show sign of a problem to keep an eye on.

You are far past the 'few units'.

 

Also, your Extended SMART tests were working but not good either.

Emphasis on Completed: read failure (and the first one was ~9000 power on hours ago).

 

The system should have warnings about those errors on the Dashboard. Now I wonder about the status of your other drives.

If you want someone to have a look at your other drives, you should post your diagnostics.
