Macrium backup does not report it had failed, so it would appear these errors did not stop the backup from completing 🤔 As this seems to happen when I run a Macrium backup, It would seem I can recreate this error on demand. Created a new upload directory. Did not help. Enabled "SMB Multi Channel". Did not help. Photosync also leaves some temporary files, starting with '.'. Apparently file rename does not work after transfer. EDIT: I turned off "Transfer to Temporary file" option in PhotoSync and got at least all new files synced. Let's see if this was it. socono Posted July 2 Share Posted July 2 (edited) I recently noticed the same panic errors in my log with photosync kicking out an error at the same time while trying to transfer. I disabled the 'Transfer to Temporary file' option about 3/4 of the way through the multi retry attempts and it finished without panics.. Nothing conclusive. ncohafmuta Posted July 5 Share Posted July 5 (edited) I just noticed these errors today in my syslog (unraid 6.12.10) when I delete or move (also causing a delete, obviously) a file on one of my shares using the X-plore app (4.38.24) from my android 12 phone over wifi. Don't think i ever tried a move/delete with the app before, so the error is new to me. The operation still succeeded, but the app said it half-failed (e.g. for a move, "Move: OK" & "Some files could not be deleted"). This happens with the share mounted in the app in SMB2 mode. With the SMB2 option turned off (i.e. SMB1 mode reported), the errors didn't occur and the operation reports in the app as succeeded. The downside to using SMB1 mode is speed. Transfers happen at 3MB/s where-as with SMB2 mode, they happen at 14MB/s. For shits and giggles I installed Total Commander and its LAN plugin on my phone and tested a delete. In SMB2/SMB3 mode, the syslog errors occur and the app reported the delete failed, even though the op, again, succeeded. In SMB1 mode, the errors do not occur. The errors do not occur using Windows 10 file explorer (SMB3). Don't know if that helps at all, but there it is nonetheless. Edited July 5 by ncohafmuta add android version Quote Link to comment
