S3 stopped working after upgrade

Featured Replies

Hi,

echo 3 > /proc/acpi/sleep stopped working after upgrade to 4.7 from 4.4.2. My NAS with 4.7. doesn't seem to support S3:

root@Tower:~# cat /proc/acpi/sleep

S0 S1 S5

root@Tower:~# cat /sys/power/state

standby

But 4.4.2 shows:

root@Tower:~# cat /proc/acpi/sleep

S0 S1 S3 S5

root@Tower:~# cat /sys/power/state

standby mem

ethtool eth0 shows Wake-on: g on both versions. To upgrade I only copied new versions of bzimage, bzroot and memtest to USB drive. After downgrade back to 4.4.2 it works well.

Any ideas what could be wrong with my NAS?

Many thanks.
