Featured Replies

Hello!

I just got the following error in the log data.
A Docker can no longer be started either.

What is that?

Hardware defective?

I hope someone can help me.

Btrfs is detecting data corruption on disk1 and cache, start by running memtest, those should then be scrubbed.

Thanks for the answer.

and how do I do that?

  • Community Expert

Memtest is an option in the Unraid boot menu, but it only works for legacy/BIOS boot, if you can only boot UEFI use the free Passmark memtest.

OK, I'll do that. Could the RAM be defective or what could be defective?

Could the RAM be defective

It's the main suspect for the current symptoms.

It's normal for the previous filesystem to be corrupt due to the RAM issues, if they are resolved you should backup and re-format.

Thanks for your email.

Only from cache? and how do I do this better?

  • Community Expert

For now yes, since it's the one causing issues, disk1 also needs to be scrubbed.
