webui becomes unresponsive when starting unmenu

Whenever i start unmenu up and navigate to the page, my unraid webui crashes (and unmenu stops responding)

the syslog shows nothing but unmenu status: starting unmenu web-server

unmenu loads up, then the bottom part of the page shows 'page cannot be loaded' and from then on, the entire thing is unresponsive.

Note: i was performing a parity check when this happened.

All web servers etc seem to be down too (python based servers not responsive either) Any clues? i can still telnet in perfectly fine
