System freeze after previous power loss

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

it looks like I need some help.

Some history:

Unraid system was working fine, without issues.

Then, some service guy for our main heating system was here, to exchange some broken stuff. He needed the power for that room to be shut down. I took out the fuse, but was not aware that the unraid system was hooked to that same fuse -> unclean shutdown since power was lost.

I thouht no worries, since this has happened a few times already due to different reasons, but this time, the pc did not want to boot anymore. In fact, no post screen or anything. So I dismantled the system and found a diagnostic LED on the mainboard showing that is has issues with the CPU.

Long story short: I tried different motherboards and finally also a new CPU.

The system now boots up again and everything seems to be running (dockers etc work fine) - but actually it doenst.

After some undefined time, which probably is within an hour, the system freezes. Not reachable from networt anymore, and also if I hook up a screen, no chance to type anything - dead.

On reboot, same thing.

I attach a syslog and a diagnostics.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

@JorgeB thank you, I will try that. Will be earliest next weekend. I will report the result.

update: the recommendation of @JorgeB seems to have solved it. Changed p-state behaviour in bios and it seems to run stable now.

I'll keep you posted if somethings changes.

Thanks again.
