Gluetun + Apps

Featured Replies

I have a beautiful Docker Compose file that fires up Gluetun and any app that I want tunneled. However, this requires Portainer to be able to get to Docker Compose.

I was toying with the idea of just instaling Gluetun from the Apps in Unraid and then figuring out how to point other containers to use Gluetun's network in order to have them behind a VPN. However, this is turning out to be more difficult than I anticipated (compared to the Docker Compose file I use) and was needing help.

Once I have the Gluetun container up, how do I connect other containers to it? I tried to get QBittorrent to work, but I'm not able to access the webUI, presumably because it is being tunneled. I used this in the extra parameters field: --net=container:gluetunvpn (where "gluetunvpn" is the container name of Gluetun).

Is there an easier way to do this so that I can get to the webUI of these tunneled apps?
