Over Night server crashes

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I've been running UNRAID on my Dell R720 for over three years. Recently, it's been experiencing unexpected crashes during the night. When this happens, I'm forced to do a hard reset by holding down the server's power button before rebooting.

I've checked the system logs, but nothing stands out as the root cause. I would really appreciate it if someone could review the details and help identify any potential issues.

Thanks in advance for any insights or suggestions!

Macvlan call traces will usually end up crashing the server, switching to ipvlan should fix it (Settings -> Docker Settings -> Docker custom network type -> ipvlan (advanced view must be enabled, top right)).

I've updated the setting as suggested. I'll monitor the system overnight to see how it performs. It's worth noting that the only recent change I made was upgrading from a 1gb to a 10gb network. This might be the source of the current issues.

Thank you for your assistance!
