October 28, 20232 yr I have two 4TB SSD drives in a cache pool using ZFS. One for the drives dies and a replacement is coming today. What is the best way to replace this? Do I need to move everything to the cache and re-create the pool? Or, can I simply stop the array and replace the single bad drive and start the array again? I have searched and found multiple articles, but none are using ZFS. So, just wanted to get another opinion.
