mellow65
Greetings, I am looking for some help to look through my diagnostic file and see if they can help point me to where or why I got an "Out of memory errors detected on your server". It looks like the error came through at 4:30 in the morning, which as far as I can tell/remember nothing is scheduled right at 4:30am. I hadn't really messed with anything on my server for several days prior to the error, so I don't believe I changed anything. Also my memory sits right around 50-60% usage, assuming it's talking about ram when it comes to "memory". Any help would be great. I'm ok marking this up to a random fluke too, but just wanted to have someone that might know what to look for take a look. Thanks!! server-diagnostics-20231030-0743.zip Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
If it's a one time thing you can ignore, if it keeps happening try limiting more the RAM for VMs and/or docker containers, the problem is usually not just about not enough RAM but more about fragmented RAM, alternatively a small swap file on disk might help, you can use the swapfile plugin: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/109342-plugin-swapfile-for-691/ 1 Quote Link to comment
mellow65
As of current I have one VM made, but it's not running. and hasn't ran in a couple months. I'll just reboot and see if it comes back again. And then try the swap file thing. Thanks for the reply!! Quote Link to comment
