Cannot access GUI or SSH, but can access shares

Featured Replies

I'm looking for some help with my unraid server.  Currently I'm not able to access the GUI, or access my server through SSH.  However, my dockers are coming up and running (I can watch videos through Plex) and I can access the network shares that I had previously set up (i.e.: I had set up certain directories as publicly accessible shares and can still access those directories on the unraid server).

I tried shutting down, pulling the flash drive and changing the docker config file to not start docker containers automatically.  I still don't have any access to GUI or SSH.  I tried booting in safe mode and still don't have GUI or SSH access. I have run diagnostics from the command line on the server and have attached the report.

Some background which may or may not help:

- I have had this server running for a few months without any problems.  Approximately 3 weeks ago I tried to upgrade my cache drive by moving all the files to the array.  It had some problem with this and at the same time said my boot drive was corrupt.  I tried rebooting without success (flash drive corrupt I'm guessing), so I reinstalled unraid onto a new drive and got the computer booted.

- since this time I've had intermittent problems.  Accessing the GUI has been extremely slow at times, then it will work fine for a little while, then get slow again.

- the new flash drive also corrupted within a week of the first one becoming corrupt.

- I tried deleting my docker image and the appdata folders and re-installing all my containers from scratch.

- I've started to have some problems with plex accessing my nvidia graphics card (before I reinstalled all my containers).   Last week it seemed to be working ok, with one or two problems when I was streaming to another location

Like I said, these other things may or may not be part of the issue.  It would be nice if there was something that was causing all of these issues, but I'll take what I can get.

Any help is appreciated

Rob

So, to update I found out I could access the GUI and ssh from a windows PC, but not from my macbook.  Turns out wireguard was automatically connecting to unraid when it booted. Strangley I couldn't access the webui, but as soon as I turned off wireguard I was able to connect.
