Cannot start unraid and usb is locked

Featured Replies

My unraid was running properly, I restarted it and it stopped working. I get the following when I try to load unraid

Cannot open root device"(null)" or unknown-block)0,0); error -6
Please append the correct "root=" boot options here are the available partitions:
...
end Kernal panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block (0,0)

When I put my usb to my computer to upgrade it I'm currently using 6.9.2 trying to upgrade to 6.12 it says the usb drive is locked. I was reading that I can manually upgrade by copying over the files, but it's locked.

I was able to copy a couple files to my laptop before it just locks up, speed goes to 0MB/s. I copied over config, EFI, logs, previous and syslinux. The other files are on the root.

Files that I wasn't able to copy were memtest, bz-gui.

What can I do to start my unraid? I have a backup (zip file) that I took in May 15, 2023 if that helps

Create a new flash drive and restore the config folder, that's all you need, then need to replace the key.
