Cache drive errors, docker image problems

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Have a problem that started up a little while ago! Would love some help on getting it fixed.

A couple weeks ago, while up and running, the Docker tab started saying that Docker failed to start. My apps were still working, though - I could watch Plex, for instance. When I tried to reboot the server, it hung on unmounting the cache drive and I needed to hard reset. Docker booted when the server booted up again, parity found 0 errors, and all was well.

Then, it happened again. I deleted the Docker image and formed it again, but then the Docker shenanigans started again.

I did a scrub of the drive and found 15 uncorrectable errors, and the logs said the following:

Quote

UUID: 90f78699-4bbf-4038-9e0a-169d1b9413ac

Scrub started: Thu Nov 9 12:25:55 2023

Status: finished

Duration: 0:22:07

Total to scrub: 688.59GiB

Rate: 530.50MiB/s

Error summary: csum=15

Corrected: 0

Uncorrectable: 15

Unverified: 0

I also had 3 types of errors, examples:

Quote

Nov  9 08:30:58 Cybertron kernel: BTRFS warning (device loop2): checksum error at logical 13727539200 on dev /dev/loop2, physical 14541234176, root 394, inode 22386, offset 491520, length 4096, links 1 (path: usr/bin/ld.gold)

I tried a few of the files and nothing appears to be wrong (wasn't expecting there to be).

Also, last night, I received a note that the Docker image (set at 40GB) was almost full. When I ran Fix Common Problems, it said:

Quote

Nov  9 13:46:23 Cybertron root: Fix Common Problems: Warning: Docker image file is getting full (currently 83 % used)

Any help would be appreciated!

Btrfs is detecting data corruption, start by running memtest, Diags shows the RAM running @ 933MT/s, is that correct?
