September 26, 201114 yr my user shares are all set up for most-free allocation and split level 1. i recently noticed one disk is being used exclusively for writes. disk 1 is the only one spinning and it is 93% full while the other disks are much lower (a group of disks installed the same time are all 70% or so, another group installed at the same time are only 5% full). i am on unraid pro version 4.7 any help or recommendations are appreciated. This system has been running for over a year i think without problems. all hard drives are the same size 2tb. i have a cache drive set up. thanks!
September 27, 201114 yr Author Can you elaborate? What should the split level be set at? And can I change it now?
September 27, 201114 yr Can you elaborate? What should the split level be set at? And can I change it now? Split level should probably be at least 2. It ONLY affects where new files are created, so you can change it at any time. Joe L.
September 27, 201114 yr Author Is this the reason for my problem? More details about my problem: transmission torrent is writing to a use share called torrent with the split level 1. It seems to be writing to only one disk though.
