interface rules (network-rules.cfg) not present / doesnt work when inserted manually

Featured Replies

im having issues with my nics reordering themselves and wreaking havoc on everything.

ive read i should be able to use the interface rules / network-rules.cfg file to set the mapping but it doesnt show up for me. i can see 3 nics, but i cant set their eth0/eth1/eth2 order.

i tried inserting a network-rules.cfg file as suggested in other forum entries but it is deleted on boot.

im trying to figure out why this is happening because i need to be able to set my eth without having to reconfigure everything on every reboot.

Try booting with a new flash drive using a stock Unraid install, no key needed, then post those diags.
