Hi Guys,

 

I am sorry if this has already been covered off somewhere, however I can’t seem to find how to solve this issue in the wiki’s.

 

I would like to transfer data from my unraid server (4.7) to a USB external hard drive which is formatted in NTFS.

 

So far I have installed the "ntfs-3g - NTFS read/write filesystem driver" package from unMenu and mounted the drive as writable and shared in the disk management tab of unMenu.

 

When I try to create a new folder on the USB drive from my windows computer I get the following message “could not find this item. This is no longer located in \\Tower. Verify the item’s location and try again. Sde1”

 

(which is very strange because the location was newly detected!)

 

When I try to copy the files to the USB drive using MC I get the following error message “Cannot create target director “/mnt/disk/sde1/Movies” File exists (17)”

 

(however the USB drive is freshly formatted with no files on it at all)

 

Any help with this would be much appreciated
