November 15, 20232 yr As shown in screenshot, one of the disk got disabled. I have also attached the SMART report. There are some errors in the report as well. I tried to rebuild the disk on itself, but even after that the disk is disabled. Should I replace the disk? Will there be any data loss? How do i identify a potential bad disk before it starts to corrupt or before the unraid disables. The disk 1 is 3 years old Seagate 4TB Ironwolf. Any help is appreciated! smart-20231114-2227.zip
November 15, 20232 yr Community Expert Solution The SMART information for that drive looks very bad as it has lots of reallocated and pending sectors - both of which you really want to be 0 for reliable operation in Unraid. I would replace ASAP.
