VM spams my UniFi network with severe and insane consequences

Hi everyone,

back in 2022 I reported an issue with my Debian VM with GPU Passthrough leading to network hanging which I could more or less resolve by putting the VM into its own VLAN. Stupid, but case closed.

Two weeks ago a seemingly new issue evolved: My Unifi WiFi cameras kept randomly disconnecting and reconnecting and devices in my home have severe troubles with connectivity and the worst thing being trouble with my wife that is working from home and suffers dropping connections. 😅

How could this be connected to each other, right? I opened a support ticket with Unifi, asked around in their subreddit...

Now... Desperate times called for desperate measures. As soon as I stopped the VM (a Windows VM replaced the old Debian VM), all the issues magically disappeared. So no more doubts. Something's seriously wrong here.

Do you guys have any ideas how to troubleshoot or solve the issue?
