What's Seagate's Equivalent of the Western Digital 3-Pin Trick to Turn it into an External Drive?

Hello Unraid friends. Western Digital disks have a 3rd-pin trick wherein a disk that'll only work as an internal drive will work as an external drive if the 3rd pin is taped (Kapton tape is best). Would anyone know a Seagate equivalent (I tried this WD trick but it didn't work)?
