From Synology to My Own Build: Sharing & Questions

I'm a very new Unraid user as I still haven't run it because my build is still missing some components.

Anyway, I'd like to share my build with you also because I have some questions.

Let's start from the build:

• MB: Gigabyte B760M DS3H DDR4 (link)
• CPU: Intel Core i3-13100 (link)
• RAM: Kingston FURY Beast 16GB (2x8GB) 3733MHz DDR4 CL19 (link)
• PSU: Fractal Design Ion+ 2 Platinum 560W (link)
• NVME: Crucial P5 Plus 1 TB PCIe Gen.4 (link)
• HDD: 2x Synology Enterprise HAT5310-8T (link)
• USB: SanDisk 128GB Ultra Fit USB3.2 (link)
• Case: Fractal Design Pop Mini Silent (link)
• CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-L9i-17xx (link)

Main purposes:

• Store MKV media files (Movies, TV Shows); file sizes go from 1-2GB to 80/100GB;
• Run Plex Media Server for both local and remote streaming;
• Run JDownloader to download multiple files;

My needs:

• NVME usage: to run Plex Media Server (no transcoding is needed) and JDownloader containers; as download path for JDownloader and its unrar feature;
• HDD usage: to store media files downloaded from JD;
• Max power efficiency and silence;

Questions:

1. Which are the best/recommended BIOS settings for my platform?
2. Is it possible to use RAID 0 for the HDD? I need maximum read/write speed and I don't care about mirroring/snapshot.
3. Which File System do you suggest me to use on NVME and HDD? I don't want to use ZFS as it's too demanding.
4. Are there any particular network settings I need to consider? Any Router port to open for local/remote access?
5. Are there some tweaks to optimize Unraid OS?
