I‘m not very familiar with Opal since these are Enterprise features, I think you are referring to self encrypting devices correct? I just heard that Opal v1 have some serious issues with encryption where the encryption is not that reliable and that was fixed in Opal v2, but that is out of scope for your question. However I think you have to use PBA alongside with sedutil to get it working on Unraid if the BIOS doesn‘t support it natevily otherwise you should be able to configure it in the BIOS correct?
