Every few days my Unraid server stops

Featured Replies

Hi,

my unraid server every few days blocks.

So no ui access, no ssh access, not able to ping it either.

The only thing that helps is total server shutdown/power off and the power on.

I took a look at the logs but I don't understand what the logs says.

Also I noticed that I loose the logs from the accident, so I set unraid to write logs to external syslog server.

And there was this error:

Quote

"2023-11-22T05:18:56.9653096Z","emerg","kernel: Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt",""

and a bunch of warnings before that.

Please help

Thanks

Try switching to ipvlan (Settings -> Docker Settings -> Docker custom network type -> ipvlan (advanced view must be enabled, top right)), then reboot.

Ok, I've changed this setting.

Now I'll wait to see for a few days then report back.

Thanks

Please do, don't forgot to reboot after the change.

It seems that this fixed my issue.

I had no stops of Unraid after the fix.

Thanks
