September 28, 201114 yr I'm in the process of converting an older Lacie ethernet disk over to an unraid server. The Lacie is a 4x250 system with ZERO raid which blew my mind. I looked at it and it appears to be a standard mother board, however, when I boot off the unraid USB, after it loads the kernel, I get a message that says something to the effect of... This kernel requires the following features present in the CPU pae ex8 cmov Please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU I'm using the latest 4.7 release of Unraid I've done a handful of Unraid installs over the last year or two and never had a problem. Wondering if this Lacie device has something funky as far as an embedded Windows install on a chip or something and not installed on one of the disks, etc. Not sure...in any case - i wanted to see if anyone had seen this message before and had any clue if I was up the creek or maybe there's a bios setting, etc. Thanks!! -hooners
