November 25, 20232 yr I have to start fresh with unraid due to a catastrophic failure of my boot medium. I did keep the key backed up, but not a whole flash drive backup (I aint that smert). I watched SpaceinvaderOne's video at least a dozen times, but things aren't matching up. I sign in on the popup window from the replace key button, and it says the "finish key replacement button" will appear and it doesn't appear. What do I need to do?
November 27, 20232 yr Author I experienced a catastrophic failure with my boot drive. Luckily I had my key backed up. Unraid is giving me the GUID error, but I can't get a new key. I dunno what I am doing wrong. I've reached out to Unraid directly via the support function and sent my old GUID and my New GUID, and I haven't heard back.
November 27, 20232 yr Community Expert Currently you need to have the Connect plugin installed for the automatic key replacement to work, assuming it's eligible, but support should get back to you in a few hours, also make sure you got the email reply confirming the ticket was created, if you didn't create a new one.

I did not get an email saying a ticket was created.
November 27, 20232 yr Community Expert Create a new one, if you didn't get an email confirmation it means that for some reason no ticket was created, so you won't be getting a reply.
November 27, 20232 yr Author I finally got a automated response. I included my GUIDs in the initial email.
