(New to Unraid) - Unresponsive Server

Featured Replies

Hello Everyone!

I been using Unraid for about a month now and it's been really good but I've been getting an unresponsive server almost every 1-2 days of the server running which is getting annoying now. I have checked out the other solutions on the forum but none have worked.

Please help, I attached the syslog and listed what I tried:

Changed "Docker custom network type:" to Ipvlan

Added Extra Parameters: in Plex (--no-healthcheck)
Added Ram to 32gb and replaced with brand new ram (same size)

The only issue logged is with the controller with port multipliers, and while that generally doesn't make the server crash it's not recommended and should be replaced if possible.

Thanks @JorgeB I can look into it.

Since updated, this has been crashing now every night :(

Dec 3 02:08:29 Mothership-2 kernel: ahci 0000:03:00.0: AHCI controller unavailable!

Last syslog shows more than before, and it does suggest the controller is the likely problem, it shows it completely dropped offline, like mentioned before controllers with SATA port multipliers should not be used with Linux, if you want to keep using Linux that controller should be replaced:
