unable to get ip address

hi, my test server isn't getting an ip address from my router, i recently changed routers, but it should pick up a dhcp address anyway (i think)

 

i tried

- dhcpcd -k (says it's not running)

- dhclient (not available)

- ifup (not available)

 

any suggestions ?

    well, i did some incantations and it managed to pull an ip address :) updated the server to the latest version and it's working fine !
