Disk became write protected

Featured Replies

I just added a parity drive, let it build, and passed with no issues yesterday. I realized I couldn't move any files over because of write protection. 'fix common problems' showed 'Unable to write to disk1' but it is less than half full. I ran SMART on all drives, including cache with no issues. Docker seems fine, everything runs, and plenty of space.

The log is showing BTRFS problems with md1p1 but I can't find that device in System Devices.

Should I just zero the drive and rebuild? Any suggestions?

That error is usually fatal with btrfs, since the disk is still mounting backup anything important and then recommend re-formatting.
