Moving Failed Drives

Featured Replies

I have 7 drives in my array. Two of them were WD Red 4tb that failed within a month of each other. I had a spare 6tb to swap in for one of them, but the second I have no spares at the moment.

I have a drive in my array currently that has no data on it. It is the 7th of 7 drives. Is there an easy way for me to pull this drive and swap it for the failed drive?

No, but you can move the data there and then do a new config do remove one of the disabled drives, after replacing the other one.
