December 1, 20232 yr I have 7 drives in my array. Two of them were WD Red 4tb that failed within a month of each other. I had a spare 6tb to swap in for one of them, but the second I have no spares at the moment. I have a drive in my array currently that has no data on it. It is the 7th of 7 drives. Is there an easy way for me to pull this drive and swap it for the failed drive?
December 2, 20232 yr No, but you can move the data there and then do a new config do remove one of the disabled drives, after replacing the other one.
