HP MCX312B-XCCT 546SFP Mellanox ConnectX-3 Pro

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with the network card I installed in my NAS and I would appreciate some help. I purchased a new network card, specifically the HP MCX312B-XCCT 546SFP Mellanox ConnectX-3 Pro Dual Port 10Gb SFP Network Card, through eBay. Once installed in my NAS, I found that the device is recognized under System Devices as: [15b3:1007]01:00.0 Ethernet controller: Mellanox Technologies MT27520 Family [ConnectX-3 Pro].

However, when I try to configure the network settings under Settings>NetworkSettings, the new network cards are not available. Interestingly, the same network card works fine on my Windows 11 PC.

I kindly ask if anyone could provide assistance or advice on how to resolve this issue. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Here some other data from the Mellanox card

in attachments the diagnostics.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Dec 3 01:09:17 NAS00 kernel: mlx4_core 0000:01:00.0: Missing UAR, aborting

Driver is not loading because of this error, not sure what UAR is though, don't remember seeing this error before, Google may help.

Unfortunately, I have not found anything useful.
Could you recommend me a dual 10G/s SFP+ network card that is compatible with unraid?

Thank you, bye.

You've added "pci=realloc=off" between "append" and "initrd=/bzroot" in the file /boot/syslinux/syslinux.cfg, as shown in the screenshot.

Now all my interfaces are displayed correctly.

Yes, you can use the GUI to edit syslinux, just click on the flash drive on main.

P.S. Your Google-fu needs some work :), that was literally the first Google hit for "mlx4_core 0000:01:00.0: Missing UAR, aborting"

I'm sorry, in my Google, this thread isn't showing.

In any case, I wasn't sure about the correlation because users were talking about hard disk.

Thank you, you have been really helpful.
