December 6, 20232 yr So I am setting up my unRAID Server on a Poweredge T330 and when I started it the first time, it saw one of my two hard drives, I decided to fix this later, so I tried to create a share, when that didn't work, I assumed it was a problem with the hard drives, so I rebooted to see if the hard drives are seen now, but now it sees neither. I new to Servers, so feel free to ask me any Question nessesary.

December 6, 20232 yr Community Expert Which controller are these using? RAID controllers are NOT recommended with Unraid for many reasons.
December 7, 20232 yr Community Expert It is a RAID controller, ideally you'd use a true HBA, but that one may work if you set the devices to JBOD, but can still have issues in the future if you need to change the controller.
December 7, 20232 yr Community Expert Ideally you'd get one of these: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/102010-recommended-controllers-for-unraid/
December 7, 20232 yr Author Ah, I see, is it possible, to fix my issue with the controller I have now?
December 7, 20232 yr Community Expert Is this controller on your motherboard? Have you used all the ports on this other controller? 00:17.0 SATA controller [0106]: Intel Corporation Q170/Q150/B150/H170/H110/Z170/CM236 Chipset SATA Controller [AHCI Mode] [8086:a102] (rev 31) Subsystem: Dell Q170/Q150/B150/H170/H110/Z170/CM236 Chipset SATA Controller [AHCI Mode] [1028:06a7] Kernel driver in use: ahci Kernel modules: ahci
December 7, 20232 yr Author I thought I only had one Controller, considering it came with the Server, I'm pretty sure, from Dell.
December 7, 20232 yr Community Expert That other controller I showed above is from your Diagnostics. Are there any SATA ports on your motherboard?
