Server Crash every 2 days

Featured Replies

Hi all.

I need some support. Every 2 (or so) days my server just goes offline, completely unreachable.

My DNS server is hosted on the server so my internet also stops working.

Please see attached a picture of what appears on the screen when it stops.

I have replaced the USB stick but still the same issue.

Can someone please help me

Do I just need to enable "mirror logs to flash drive"?

If you told it to mirror to flash then it is in the 'logs' folder on the flash drive.   Otherwise it is where you configured it to be put.

Dec 14 10:31:40 GenX-Nas kernel: macvlan_broadcast+0x10a/0x150 [macvlan]
Dec 14 10:31:40 GenX-Nas kernel: ? _raw_spin_unlock+0x14/0x29
Dec 14 10:31:40 GenX-Nas kernel: macvlan_process_broadcast+0xbc/0x12f [macvlan]

Macvlan call traces will usually end up crashing the server, switching to ipvlan should fix it (Settings -> Docker Settings -> Docker custom network type -> ipvlan (advanced view must be enabled, top right)), then reboot.

Thank you for your assistance. I will make the changes when I get back home.

I will leave it for a few days and post an update on here.

Thank you

Hi @JorgeB

My server seems to be stable now after the changes.
