December 15, 20232 yr I'm having an issue with my Unraid server freezing up on the GUI interface. I also am unable to remote in from another computer. Forcing me to reboot the server. Sometimes the server will be accessible for hours, sometimes minutes. Looking for any help in the matter. Thanks in advance! tower2-diagnostics-20231214-1754.zip
December 16, 20232 yr Multiple call traces logged but cannot see what's causing them, start by running memtest.
December 17, 20232 yr Boot the server in safe mode with all docker/VMs disabled, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one.
December 17, 20232 yr Another suggestion. Remove the cache_dirs plugin. Your 28 disks are all around 90% plus full and the cache_dirs plugin may be stressing the server to keep up with caching all the files on your server.
December 19, 20232 yr Author Ran for a couple days as a NAS with Docker and VM disabled. No issues. I started by enabling docker (VM disabled) and the issue has started back. Should I delete my docker image and restart? Thinking it might be corrupted.
February 13, 20242 yr Author tower2-diagnostics-20240212-2148.zip Getting back to my secondary server after the holidays. I have deleted my docker image. Rebuild my dockers and I'm still getting the same freezing as I slowly open dockers.
February 13, 20242 yr Try enabling them one at a time and let it run some time before the next one, to see if it's the same container causing the issue.
February 14, 20242 yr Author Its plex docker. Are there any reports of plex docker causing this issue. Maybe a way to take down their home server service in favor paid movies.
February 14, 20242 yr There have been other users with Plex causing issues, but don't know if/how they solved it.
