Server crashing every 24 hours

Featured Replies

My server has recently started crashing every 24 hours (around 1:30pm local time). I’ve tried disabling docker before the crash happens to isolate that and it didn’t make any difference.

Of course if’s happened while we are away on holiday.

Any ideas on what to try next would be greatly appreciated

You should try enabling the syslog server to get a syslog that survives a reboot and post that after the next crash so we can see what lead up to the crash.

Make sure you either enable the mirror to flash option or alternatively put the Unraid server's IP address into the Remote Server field of the syslog server settings.

It didn’t save for todays crash but hopefully it’ll be ok for tomorrows one.

Ah ok. Sorry, the fun of doing everything remote on an iPhone and iPad.

Nothing special logged other than some nginx errors caused by this client: 10.0.0.51.

Those can sometimes be a problem, try booting in safe mode and/or closing any browser windows open to the GUI, only open when you need to use it then close again.

Can I boot in safe mode remotely?

I’m around 5000kms away from the server at the moment.

Thanks for the help BTW.

Never mind, I found out how to do it.
