November 7, 201114 yr Author I suggest adding "aaa_terminfo" to the packages installed. Had problems using screen while ssh'd in with Prompt (iOS ssh client) until I installed it. - Martin I'm no longer supporting the screen plugin. Since there is no configuration required, there is no need for a plugin. You can just place all the required files in \\tower\flash\extra\ and it will be installed automatically.
October 10, 201213 yr Where can I get aaa_terminfo version for unRAID and how to install it on unRAID 5.0 RC8a?

February 23, 201313 yr Hi Before I could get screen to install i had to install a few extra bits, installpkg libelf-0.8.13-i486-2.txz installpkg utempter-1.1.5-i486-1.txz installpkg utempter-1.1.5-i486-1.txz threw an error in the install though and said it was successful, Is it anything to worry about? Executing install script for utempter-1.1.5-i486-1.txz. chown: cannot access `var/log/wtmp': No such file or directory chmod: cannot access `var/log/wtmp': No such file or directory Package utempter-1.1.5-i486-1.txz installed. then finally installpkg screen-4.0.3-i486-3.txz Question How do I get the 3 above packages to install upon a reboot?

March 23, 201412 yr Can screen be put in Unraid 6? Thornwood You have to get the 64 bit versions of screen and utempter. I installed trolley and let trolley take care of it.
May 18, 201412 yr Since I'm not sure if the plugin will ever be updated I downloaded the txz files from the site Peter_SM linked. From what I understand you can install them manually with the installpkg command or place them in the /boot/extra directory to have them loaded each time the system boots. I don't see an "extra" directory on my flash drive, so do I just create one and put the files in there? Thanks.
May 18, 201412 yr To answer your question. Yes you must create the extra folder in boot. Once you reboot your machine the txz files will attempt to install. You should be careful doing this however. UnRAID 5 is based on Slackware 13.1 and it is best if you only install files compiled for this version of Slackware. You can install txz files compiled for later versions of Slackware but you risk causing issues with unRAID. I have always just installed unMENU and then installed screen there.
May 18, 201412 yr Most times 13.37 txz files are compatible, as I haven't found one yet that broke unraid. Try this link if you are using unraid 5: Link
